Rotary Club of Milton Keynes Swimathon 2026

This will be the 33rd annual Swimathon organised by Rotary MK. Since 1994, the event has raised over half a million pounds for local charities.

Each year, teams of six swim on a relay basis for 55 minutes, raising money for charities through sponsorship. No special swimming ability is needed, but everyone taking part must be able to swim a 25-metre length pool unaided. Children of any age are welcome but must have parental permission.

At 2025’s Swimathon, 50 teams with just under 300 swimmers participated, all sponsored by family, friends and colleagues.

Each year, a number of local Milton Keynes charities are identified to benefit from the Swimathon, providing them with funds to be used on specific projects. The selected charities enter swimming teams and provide help on the day.

The 2026 Swimathon will be held on 21 February at Wolverton Swimming Pool.

This is a fun event, which also help lots of local charities. Every swimmer is a winner. Join us!
